Willows Lodge Wedding - Kelly & Aaron
Kelly and Aaron wanted to go with a romantic and rustic theme with a touch of elegance for their wedding. Without a question, Willows Lodge would be the perfect place to tie the knot at. Willows Lodge is located in Woodinville, a unique haven for its famous wineries. The open air gazebo, topped with a copper roof and surrounded by various kinds of herbs and flowers, provides the guests an enjoyable environment to witness the vows amidst the soothing summer breeze sans the August heat in the Pacific Northwest. All the guests were also given bubbles for the recessional which gave us, the photographers, the most stylish couple exit.
I was so fortunate to have had the opportunity to partner with Linda for her last wedding gig. And by last wedding, I mean the very last wedding ever in her life. She'd like to focus more on boudoir photography. Therefore, this wedding was extra meaningful. She was giving everything she got. We have completely different styles of photography, yet we worked so well together. I remember when we took our couple out for an intimate photo session, none of us held back with our creative pursuits. When one of us had an idea for a specific scene, the other would say, "when you're finished this, I got another idea," followed by, "oh wait, I got something else too," then "My bad, I swear to God, this is the last one!" And the shutter was going off non-stop. It was such a fun time exchanging ideas and helping each other realize our photographic visions.
