Not just your typical destination wedding- one that's dear to me, as I got to officiate, photograph, and manage the video team for one of my childhood best friends!

Lily and Yan bring such intellect and a calm presence. Their vows to each other, especially Yan's, are truly poetry in motion.

They have been through lots of trials and tribulations, but one certainty has always remained — she knew she was going to marry him right from the very beginning.

Like most photographers, I picked up my first DSLR back in college, initially just experimenting and taking photos of friends and family. However, video was always where I found myself drawn to. I spent a lot of time filming for numerous projects for different student organizations. As my career shifted more seriously into photography after graduating, filmmaking slowly took a back seat. That changed a few years later when I attended one of the largest photography and videography judging competitions and saw what a wedding film could be. Watching those films reignited my passion for storytelling through motion, reminding me why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place—and why it’s once again a core part of how I tell stories today.

It’s the small moments that matter most. Beyond your beautifully written vows, from the embarrassing jokes shared by your friends to the tear-jerking stories told by your siblings, we look for the in-between moments that shape your film—creating a feature film that truly feels authentically you.
