I have heard about this venue for quite a while now. Its gorgeous ballroom has always mesmerized me and it's been on my bucket list to photograph there sooner than later. Thanks to Jennifer and Jeff, I got to cross it off of the list! It was quite an adventure in the chilly October. When I got to the venue, I was really confused about where exactly the venue was or even hot to get in. From the outside, it looked like an abandoned warehouse. The groom's mom happened to arrive at the same time as me and we were just looking around for the longest time. Once we called the coordinator who was able to open the door for us, we were in awe. It was a totally different vibe inside. From elephant sculpture, and the cemented greenhouse-like courtyard, to the actual whimsical ballroom. It's got everything you ever need. If one would like to call what a hidden gem in Seattle is, the Ruins is the perfect description. On top of that, the bride and groom's personalities and enthusiasm to work with me and implement any ideas I had for the couple's portraits just made everything more joyful. This is one of the amazing wedding portraits that we were able to create in a short amount of time. Really looking forward to photographing another wedding here again soon!
