What a candid and joyful bridal party photograph at Willow Heights Mansion. Thanks to our good friend Arries. I was able to capture this moment because of his humor. He precisely said, "C'mon guys, we've all seen you make out before, why are you guys so shy about it now when you're married already?" And that made everybody burst out laughing! I think every wedding photographer can agree that this sort of image is what we all strive for during the wedding day. A picture that can summarize it all. A day filled with laughter, excitement, and tears. This wedding was extraordinary to me because it was my good friends, Yuki and Phil's wedding with the wedding party that consisted of many folks I've known from college. I truly felt exceptionally emotional as this was the first friend's wedding I shot since I documented newly weds a few years back. The pleasant moment of the bridal party hanging out with the lively mountain backdrop faded out with shallow depth of field behind, the picture can't be any more perfect. I just wish we actually had more time to explore the vineyard and take more stunning pictures for the bride and groom along with the wedding party as destination weddings are always rare opportunities for photographers. Especially with a splendid venue like this in California.
